Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring a part-time Food Service Cashier and Barista to join our Jakes Cafe team at Patina 250 in Buffalo, New York. As a Food Service Cashier, you will display a positive attitude with guests and co-workers while accurately ringing up merchandise and product in an efficient manner.

 

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay $17.00 - $19.00 / hour

What will you do?Greet guests approaching the stand and provide details to guests on items for sale while using suggestive selling techniquesParticipate in set-up, opening and closing procedures, arrange inventory, notify supervisor of any inventory deficiency or shortagesPerform clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipmentProperly record all transactions via the point-of-sale system and inform guests of the amounts owedCollect the proper money for food and beverage items; process credit cards or determine correct change for guests
