We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an IWPB Insurance Infrastructure Lead Architect (Domain Architecture).

Principal Responsibilities

Strategy definition of our target state foundation platformsDesign scalable, secure and resilient solutions utilizing modern foundation platforms (e.g. private/hybrid/public cloud)Define and maintain architecture and technology roadmaps for service hosting platformsProvide architectural leadership for cloud services across Insurance service domainsProvide detailed design guidance to engineering teams for both cloud on-premises setupsWork with the wider HSBC organization to drive Insurance specific priorities for foundation platformsAbility to create clear, concise proposals for solutions and brokering agreement across multiple stakeholders. Strong experience of working with senior stakeholders across multiple disciplines; business analysts, product owners, testing teams and wider technical stakeholdersDefine and align a vision, but with the ability to deliver incrementally and provide immediate value to the stakeholdersAbility to convert requirements into actionable architectural artifactsAbility to understand and further explain complex technical concepts, and ensure these are appropriately documented and presented in a style suitable of the audience to understand
