IVS/VADR Engineer

As the Lead of the OKTB Releases team within VADR, your primary responsibility will be to analyze the workload of each team member. You will identify individual strengths and areas for improvement to foster their professional development and growth. A key aspect of this role is to proactively remove any blockers preventing the team from achieving timely deliveries. You will conduct weekly meetings to track and address urgent team items.
You will establish effective communication with key stakeholders to identify program priorities, participating in follow-up and planning meetings to establish agreements and strategies that drive project delivery forward, especially when challenges arise. You will also be responsible for internally prioritizing team tasks based on program milestones throughout the year. Finally, you will maintain a well-organized Jira dashboard and filters to provide readily available information for service reporting.

As an IVS Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate software release as required and specified by Design & Release Engineers (D&Rs), service, and manufacturing plants.
You will liaise with various cross-functional teams to gather all necessary information, deliverables, and tools. Your role will involve creating database combinations and structures precisely as specified by D&R. You must possess strong analytical skills to generate all required elements for specific vehicle variants needing the software. In cases of discrepancies or errors in input from other teams, you will be responsible for aligning and confirming information with various stakeholders to ensure your work is precise and error-free.
· Proficiency in Jira (dashboard creation, automation management).
· Understanding of FNV electronic architectures.
· Strong leadership capabilities.
· Excellent communication skills, acting as a reliable Single Point of Contact (SPOC).
· Expertise in error analysis and interpretation.
· Ability to organize teams and actively participate in planning meetings.
· Proposing and leading the resolution of technical and process blockers.
· Proactive identification of problem areas and the ability to initiate and lead projects to resolve them.
· Strong negotiation skills with cross-functional teams to ensure processes are followed diligently.
· A knack for applying tools and knowledge to automate redundant tasks.
