Job Title: IVF Consultant

JOB SUMMARY

As an IVF Consultant in the Gynecology Department, is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments for patients experiencing infertility. This role includes conducting thorough assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and utilizing advanced reproductive technologies to optimize patient outcomes. The consultant collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team, including embryologists, nurses, and mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive care and support. Additionally, the IVF Consultant educates patients about procedures, risks, and expectations, ensuring they are informed throughout their journey. A strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of reproductive endocrinology are essential for success in this position.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides high-quality IVF care to patients in this area of medicine. Provide consultative service as requested. Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents. Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities. Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed. Performs special procedures as privileged. Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Graduate from a medical school of Obstetrics & Gynecology Completion of the required period of training in IVF/ Reproductive medicine. American Board, FRCS-Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/DES/CIS/Diploma di Medico Specialist Italy/ SCR/ Holland/ Swedish Board/ German Facharzt/ Austrian Facharzt/CCST/CCT UK  Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must. Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in IVF (Reproductive medicine). A registered member of the Saudi Board Council

Language

Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
