With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system. *_Position Summary:_* The Acute Clinical Application Analyst works under the direction of the application’s team lead to design, build, & test clinical systems. They support workflow analysis, design and build sessions with subject matter Experts (physicians, nursing and other ancillary services personnel). They complete in depth and precise investigation and documentation of operational specifications and application functionality to deliver on expected outcomes. Attention to detail is a critical skill for this position. Successful candidates enjoy helping other users learn and adopt usage of the application. This position is part of an on-call rotation. *_Position Responsibilities:_* 1. Analyzes workflow and how it translates into application configurations to ensure consistent system design. 2. Anticipates and provides solutions to complex problems with the necessary priorities. 3. Completes specific tasks as assigned. 4. Assists in building clinical documentation tools and testing of new clinical content functionality. 5. Documents and maintains all required system design and build documents and configures system accordingly. 6. Participate actively in weekly team meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates. 7. Coordinates vendor support for functional and technical support of assigned areas as needed. 8. Communicates with customers based on the progress of troubleshooting issues and project deliverables. · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a HealthCare environment · Relevant inpatient clinical experience or with clinical information applications in the inpatient care setting preferred. · Epic Clinical Documentation, Stork, ASAP certification or proficiency a plus. *_The Application Analyst exhibits the following qualities:_* · Works successfully in a matrix team environment that presents significant change and tight timeframes. * Approaches problems constructively by focusing on how to move the project forward, explores and analyzes alternatives. * Acts as a proponent for change and demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset , ingenuity and innovative thinking. * Possesses strong communication and organizational skills. *_We take great care of careers._* With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
