Who we are
By joining our project, you will be working on an initiative of the European Commission focused on creating a more efficient, modern and secure customs environment within the European Union. Being part of this initiative set on a 5 years’ timeline, you will have the opportunity to work on topics such as digitalization of customs processes, streamlining customs procedures to facilitate trade and reduce costs, harmonization of customs rules across all EU member states and combating fraud.
This purposeful project will not only give you the opportunity to have an impact on one of the key topics within the European Union, it will also offer you various professional opportunities, let you experience a collaborative environment, using cutting-edge technologies and experiencing diversity in your everyday professional life.
What you'll be doing
Designing and implementing ITIL-based processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Level Management.Creating detailed process documentation, workflows, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.Continuously analyzing and improving existing ITIL processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards.Identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes, and monitoring their impact.Collaborating with IT teams, service managers, and business units to ensure ITIL processes are well understood and consistently followed.Conducting training sessions and workshops to promote awareness and adherence to ITIL best practices.Monitoring process performance using KPIs and metrics, generating reports, and providing insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations, and ITIL governance standards through audits and assessments.
What you'll bring along
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in ITIL process design, implementation, and optimization.Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across technical and business teams.Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar platforms.Ability to develop training materials and deliver process-related workshops.Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and reporting techniques.Knowledge of compliance and governance requirements in IT service environments.ITIL Foundation certification (Intermediate or Expert level preferred).Excellent command of both spoken and written English (any other European language would be a plus).
