As the ITCD Team Lead, you will provide individual and group therapy, education, and practical counseling, while also supervising a team of Community Support Specialists. You will coordinate clinical services, manage documentation, support team development, and play an integral role in crisis response and treatment planning. Our ideal candidate is experienced in behavioral health, licensed (or license-eligible), and passionate about clinical excellence and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual, group, family, and practical counseling to meet client needs and treatment goals

Participate in public forums to educate the community on mental health topics

Carry a limited caseload as established with supervisory staff

Participate in client staffing, treatment planning, and emergency interventions

Deliver and coordinate comprehensive follow-up services

Maintain timely and compliant documentation per Brightli guidelines

Attend and contribute to staff development and training activities

Support management needs including data collection, evaluation, and contract maintenance

Evaluate self and supervisees regularly and participate in quality assurance

Perform other duties as required to support behavioral health service delivery
 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Hold regular supervision and team meetings with up to 7 FTE Community Support Specialists

Provide clinical consultation, backup support, and crisis intervention

Review caseloads, documentation, treatment plans, and interventions

Oversee staff schedules and productivity to ensure compliance with caseload standards

Assist in hiring, credentialing, performance evaluations, and discipline

Monitor mileage and travel vouchers for accuracy and necessity

Communicate organizational strategy and department updates to team

Champion change and reinforce a collaborative team approach
 

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field

Missouri license as a Professional Counselor or Social Worker preferred

Missouri Chauffeur’s License suggested (required only if operating a Brightli-owned vehicle)
 

Required License/Certification (one of the following):

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or license-eligible in Missouri (preferred)
 

Additional Qualifications:

Language Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and teams

Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic and data reporting

Reasoning Ability: Problem-solving skills and ability to apply clinical judgment in complex situations

Ability to supervise and motivate staff, manage performance, and foster team engagement

Knowledge of mental health best practices and community resources
