The Consultant will interact directly with customers (within the definition of consulting agreements and Statements of Work), with the primary objective to understand the customer’s current Business Goals and Objectives and how their ITAM program integrates with those goals and other critical IT and governance processes. The consultant’s primary objective is to become a trusted advisor to the customer on Business alignment with ITAM, ITSM, and ITIL frameworks and how to implement them along with determining best ITAM tools that are fit for their purposes and discover any compliance–related issues. **Role Description** + Support the sales team in any meeting/engagement with a customer to C-Level, where a deeper business-related approach about the alignment of ITAM, ITSM and ITIL frameworks the customers’ requirement needs to be delivered. + Collaborate with customers to solicit, collect, and analyze information about customers’ ITAM and ITSM environments to assess how existing programs can be improved, enhanced, and matured. + Develop and build, as directed, new ITAM added value opportunities for our customers, for example delivering new state of the art ITAM related business alignment strategies. + Collaborate with SHI team members to author and own ITAM & other related best practice policies and processes within the SHI service offering in line with ISO and industry standards. + Attend, support, and represent SHI at conferences and events. + Actively promote and support the sale and adoption of ITAM Services including Baselines, Managed Services, Consultancy, ITAM platform implementation) with the SHI Sales teams at large, and directly with ITAM Services customers. + Assist SHI customers in increasing overall standards of ITAM and ITSM maturity levels. + Hold Customer to C-Level conversations around ITAM alignment with the customers’ business strategy. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
