Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a tech-savvy IT Trainer to support faculty and staff in effectively using enterprise systems and academic technologies. This role involves designing and delivering customized training programs, creating instructional content using platforms like Canvas, and promoting the adoption of tools that enhance learning, engagement, and operational efficiency. The trainer will collaborate with academic leadership to coach faculty across disciplines, lead professional development workshops, and produce on-demand resources that support digital literacy and technology integration across the university. The target pay rate is between $19 - 22/hr and based on years of experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver training on enterprise platforms including:
Banner (student information system)
Chrome River (expense management)
KnowBe4 (cybersecurity awareness)
Microsoft Teams
Qualtrics (survey platform)
ServiceNow (IT service management)
New employee and student orientation tools
Create and edit instructional videos and digital content
Design workshops, curriculum, and training materials
Track and schedule training sessions for faculty and staff
Rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies (e.g., Adobe Express, AI tools)
Collaborate with departments to identify training needs

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in:
Education
Mass Communication
Business
Or related field
2–4 years of experience in training, instructional design, or technical education
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and teach them effectively
Experience with:
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
Video conferencing platforms (preferably Microsoft Teams)
Video editing tools (Clipchamp, Adobe Express) Experience in higher education or technical training
Background in education or instructional design
Familiarity with digital content creation and e-learning platforms null
