Key Responsibilities:

Assist in monitoring and maintaining Oracle, SQL Server, or other database systems.Support daily backup, recovery, and performance tuning tasks.Learn to manage database users, roles, and access privileges.Help troubleshoot database issues under guidance.Document processes, incidents, and changes.Participate in database upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.Follow IT policies and data security best practices.

Requirements:

Basic understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).Familiarity with SQL and basic scripting (PL/SQL or T-SQL is a plus).Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Eagerness to learn and take initiative.Recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or final-year student).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.Awareness of database backup and recovery concepts.Understanding ITIL practices or ITSM tools.
