Join our exceptional team today and help shape the future of energy! **Position Specific Description** This technology leader role is focused on Advanced Metering Infrastructure data analytics with responsibilities including technology strategy planning, resource management, procurement management, process documentation, compliance, and financial management. The ideal candidate should have rich experience with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) data platforms, including large scale migration and conversion programs. Strategy, agility, AWS, technical and business competencies are essential in the role to meet the growing needs for real-time AMI data at scale. **Strategic Leadership & Vision** + Provides leadership, influence, vision, direction, and hands on execution to the organization to contribute to achieving the company's goals + Works with IT & BU leadership to develop IT technology strategies in alignment with business strategies and outcomes + Develops and implements IT strategy in alignment with the company's business goals and objectives, specifically focused on AMI data initiatives + Establishes and drives technology roadmaps that align with current and future business needs for real-time AMI data capabilities + Anticipates technological trends and drives innovation to maintain the company's competitive edge in AMI technologies **AMI Data Program Management** + Leads enterprise-level big data projects focused on Advanced Metering Infrastructure data analytics and real-time processing + Oversees development and optimization of AMI data collection, processing, and analytics frameworks + Drives implementation of real-time outage awareness capabilities and grid innovation initiatives with an AI focus + Manages AMI data integration into enterprise systems including ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) + Ensures AMI data quality, timeliness, and availability meet operational requirements **Technical Leadership & Innovation** + Supports and fosters innovative technologies to deliver new ideas that enable business transformation in the AMI space + Oversees development of processes and tools to automate code releases from development to operations (DevOps) + Leads optimization strategies in AWS cloud platforms, specifically utilizing DynamoDB, Redshift, Glue, and EMR + Ensures technology processes are conducted in line with applicable standards and company policies + Manages hybrid infrastructure and cloud platforms supporting AMI operations **Team Leadership & Development** + Attracts, develops and retains a high-performing and diverse team + Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support IT and Business Unit projects and initiatives + Provides mentorship and technical guidance to team members + Communicates effectively with stakeholders, including non-technical audiences, to convey technical information and project updates **Project & Operational Management** + Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards + AMI networks and edge computing environments **Stakeholder Engagement** + Collaborates with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their AMI technology needs and provide solutions that enhance business processes + Establishes and manages relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality of delivered services + Communicates at multiple levels of the organization and creates content required to aid in communication with various stakeholder groups **Preferred Experience** + 3+ years of experience in Advanced Metering Infrastructure technologies + Deep understanding of Advanced Meter Infrastructure data and analytics + Proficient in AWS Technologies specifically: DynamoDB, Redshift, Glue, and EMR + 3+ years of experience leading optimization strategies in AWS + Experience executing on enterprise level big data projects **Additional Preferred Qualifications** + Strong focus on edge computing, distributed intelligence, and artificial intelligence + Experience with AMI network deployment, management, and data integration + Knowledge of hybrid infrastructure and cloud platforms + Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity in utility/energy sector environments + Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in AMI 2.0 strategies + Experience with real-time data processing and
