Job Responsibilities:

Installation, configuration, upgrade and administration of Tableau or Cognos software packages through continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) pipelines. Collaborates with members of the CLIENT’s BI/Analytics Platform team to ensure optimization of the IT infrastructure and services to deliver enterprise-level application availability and performance while optimizing cost efficiency Provides deployment services for new or changed analytical reports or data visualizations Ensures delivery of analytical reports or data visualizations to business users Provides business analytics and data visualization expertise to the business community Executes tests for business continuity Designs, tests, and implements application monitoring tools and processes Develops solutions for collection of application metrics and perform analysis and action plans to achieve near 100% uptime and maximize platform stability and performance Performs complex work to install Cloud-based infrastructure and software taking proactive steps to assure success Implements process and procedure for applying and maintaining security settings and user access based on Client’s BI/Analytics Platform team requirements Recommends improvements as indicated based on analysis of current techniques and perceived imperfections

General Experience & Qualifications:

Masters’ or Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or a related field 3+ years of experience in large-scale software development 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Cloud 3+ years of development experience in languages like Python, Java, Go, Scala or JavScript using test driven development Experience with both relational and No-SQL databases Experience with ETL and BI/Reporting Experience with AGILE and SCRUM methodologies 2+ years of experience with DevOps stack; Jira, Jit, Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes, etc Excellent Chinese and English bi-lingual verbal and written communication skills

IBM Cognos Platform Experience & Qualifications:

2+ years of experience on installing and configuring of IBM Cognos Analytics, including version 11, multiple environments such as development, testing, sandbox, production, lab, and training Experience in installing and configuring hotsites, fix packs and patches in Cognos Conducted POC for Cognos Analytics software upgrade evaluation

Tableau Platform Experience & Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as Tableau developer in developing and maintaining dashboards and adhoc reports Familiar with the handling of report process from report requirement gathering to publishing reports Having basic concepts and understanding of Datawarehouse, ETL and BI/Analytics Scheduling, monitoring and implementation of ETL workflows, jobs and triggers for relations databases such as Oracle or MySQL Understanding of Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau Content Migration Tool, as well as the Tableau architecture
