Detailed Job Description:

The Splunk Operations Engineer would be responsible for daily operations around Splunk Log Utility, Data Onboarding, Summary Index Creation, Baseline Creation, Dashboard creation and Alert setup and maintenance. Requires candidate to be knowledgeable with Unix System Logs, Windows Event Logs, Various Webserver logs like Apache, WebSphere or IIS. Also level of understanding around various system performance metrics and application performance monitoring tools.

He will be responsible for maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the systems environment. Manage and report on application performance against KPIs Drive business decisions through data using tools like Splunk
