Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional and detailed individual for our IT Technician Intern position. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Handle requests, troubleshoot, isolate and resolve issues.

2. Support IT related systems.  

3. Manage special projects as assigned.

4. Create and maintain documentation as required.

5. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

6. Understand. Create. Simplify.

7. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Enrolled at an accredited institution

Excellent customer service skills

Technical background and strong computer knowledge

Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage time

Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Background check results satisfactory to SEL

Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications
Ability to meet Motor Vehicle Report Qualification Standards of SEL

Physical Requirements
Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds

Pay Range Data

($16.80 - $19.00 per hour)* Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate). Talk to your recruiter if you are curious about the rate for your year in school.
