Detailed Job Description:

Kubernetes/EKS expertise, Cluster/pod management/sizing/rightsizing EC2 and clusters. Middleware RedHat JBoss/WebLogic Elastic Beanstalk/ECS/Fargate/AWS Fusion/Managed services/SaaS/PaaS Integration Experience with Cloud based Kubernetes deployments (AWS EKS) Extensive experience with Unix and Linux, GitHub Hands on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Zookeeper, MongoDB, Kafka Good understanding of Jenkins for CICD and DevOps Serverless Lambda based development

The candidate should have/be:

AWS Architect + Middleware/JBoss engineer, hands on experience with EKS and JBoss

This will be a native AWS cloud resource who is completely hands on with AWS and EKS, Python, Lambda, IAM, server less with integration on with S3, EFS, EBS, messaging, logging, and the ability to try out new AWS capabilities with various systems. From the JBoss side, total management of the JBoss admin console, applications, memory/heap, JMS integration, running on physical, EC2 or on EKS. CI/CD and Automation, container and container-less setups, Docker builds and Image stabilizations, DevOps awareness.

AWS native candidate-

Candidate should be very strong in AWS (having a free hand on anything AWS hands on through console and CLI, can handle any new trials of capabilities which come with AWS/EKS like Cluster management, vetting new services, working with Outposts, integrating monitoring and messaging solutions, serverless, Lambda, Python, IAM, cost optimizations, understands LB/ELB/ALB/VPC/Subnet requirements/CIDR block ranges/AZ s/memory optimizations/vertical and horizontal scaling and such). This person may or may not be Kubernetes certified, Terraform certified and AWS Architect Associate certified, but preferrable all three.
