We are looking for: A Tech Lead is a senior member of the team with combined technical architectural and managerial skills. Primarily responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure. As a Tech Lead, you must be conversant with technical as well as architecture best practices. Core competency in AWS/Azure/GCP architecture and Terraform CI/CD pipelines is essential, with strong understanding of cloud architecture including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. We count on you for: Design and implement secure, scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS/Azure services, based on business and technical requirements + Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues + Experience in performance tuning and optimization of cloud services + Ability to design and implement secure cloud environments + Experience in cost optimization and efficiency improvements in cloud operations + Innovative mindset to explore and implement new cloud technologies and solutions + Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure architecture, configuration and troubleshooting steps and share knowledge with team members + Be the technical referent to a team of Cloud Engineers + Close collaboration with various stakeholders across the IT organization to ensure cloud governance is well applied + Keep up-to-date with new AWS/Azure services, features and best practices, providing recommendations for process and architecture improvements _Education and experience_ + Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications would be a plus. + Minimum of 7-15 years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture or infrastructure role + Proven experience with multi-cloud environments and services + Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools + Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell for automation tasks + Familiarity with CI/CD tools (eg: Gitlab CI/CD, Jenkins) and experience integrating them with AWS/Azure/GCP + Knowledge of networking fundamentals and experience with AWS/Azure VPC, security groups, VPN and routing + Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools such as native cloud tools or third-party tools + Cybersecurity Expertise: + Understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and frameworks. + Knowledge of encryption, identity management, access controls, and other security measures within cloud environments. + Preferably with certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified SysOps Administrator, Certified Solutions Architect _Skills and behavioral competencies_ + Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities + Result orientation, influence & impact + Empowerment & accountability with the ability to work independently + Team spirit, building relationships, collective accountability + Excellent oral and written communication skills for documenting and sharing information with technical and non-technical stakeholders _Language skills_ English _What’s in it for the candidate_ + Be part of and contribute to a once-in-a-lifetime change journey + Join a dynamic team that is going to tackle big bets + Have fun and work at a high pace About us + Syensqo is a science company developing groundbreaking solutions that enhance the way we live, work, travel and play.
