Position Summary:
The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the configuration, operation, and maintenance of the project’s digital infrastructure. This includes servers, networks, data backup systems, and virtual environments. The Administrator ensures reliable access to digital platforms, system security, and continuous system monitoring for performance improvements.

Reports to: Senior Digital Health Advisor
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Linux and Windows-based servers supporting HIS platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. Establish and maintain secure backup and disaster recovery solutions for all hosted platforms and services. Administer cloud and virtual environments and optimize virtualization for efficient resource allocation. Perform regular security audits and monitor system logs for vulnerabilities or breaches, implementing corrective actions where needed. Set up and maintain helpdesk systems and provide Level 2/3 IT support to users. Document and maintain network architecture diagrams, system configuration files, and SOPs. Collaborate with MoH IT teams to build local capacity in infrastructure management and data center support.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer systems, or related fields. At least 5 years of experience managing server infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments. Strong expertise in system security, virtualization, and backup solutions. Experience supporting health information systems is preferred.
