We’re looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team, playing a key role in supporting users, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring a robust, reliable service across multiple geographical sites.
The Role:
Service Delivery: Deliver hands-on, on-site IT support at key client locations. Conduct bi-annual preventative maintenance and ad-hoc site visits. Support critical sites via hybrid on-site, remote, and on-call availability.User & Desktop Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with terminals, monitors, phones, and peripherals. Support non-standard equipment like card scanners. Provide cable patching, Wi-Fi diagnostics, WAP replacement, and PC builds (including Thin Clients). Deploy and remove thin client setups and ensure functionality of workspace equipment.
Infrastructure & Co-Location Services: Manage installations, moves, and changes of tech infrastructure. Perform hands-on tasks like power cycling and cabling. Supervise third-party vendors to ensure adherence to client standards.
Asset & Lifecycle Management: Tag and track hardware assets in the CMDB. Manage base image installations and maintain deployment-ready stock. Oversee asset lifecycle and approved disposal processes.
Service Enhancements & Continuous Improvement Proactively reduce incidents with scheduled maintenance. Contribute to service reviews and knowledge sharing. Drive process improvement through documentation and automation tools.
What you will bring:
Strong experience in IT support, infrastructure, and asset management. Proficient in Windows administration, cable patching, and device builds. Excellent troubleshooting skills and a methodical, customer-focused approach. Effective communicator with great interpersonal skills. Familiar with ITSM tools and change management processes.
