Job DescriptionAs an IT Support Specialist you will manage the hardware and much of the software needs of your local branch and customer base. Your internal customers are a diverse mix of technical and non-technical individuals so you will develop your skills communicating with both areas. Your skills in developing tools and technical solutions will assist improve the branch's processes and productivity and you will have ownership of setting up of new systems and devices and will ensure that the network operates at consistently and efficiently. You are an integral member of the team that ensures the effective management of technology, systems and keeps us operating efficiently.
QualificationsPrevious experience in an IT related field, troubleshooting hardware and WindowsStrong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skillsVery strong analytical skills (especially identifying trends and drawing conclusions based on data)Solid oral and written communication skillsSolid knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server, Android and iOSAdvanced proficiency in Excel, VBA, Power BI and Microsoft Office 365 in generalFluent in both Polish and EnglishKey Responsibilities
Support the end users on incidents logged in our online ticket system, help requests by phone or people walking inSupport basic level Windows server and UnixTake care of hardware installation (PC, Server, Laptop, Printer)Support on network issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)Support the employees in the warehouse (scanners, tablets, automation)Coach and train our end users on the usage of tools, applications and basic knowledge of IT (self-service)Perform daily checks of backups/systems as well as making sure that these checks are administered in a portalSupport Tier 1 and Tier 2 for Infrastructure and TechnologyManage disaster Recovery and High Availability plan for systemsSupport on solving issues with PCs, Printers, Laptops and Servers (Windows/Unix)Safeguard and improve (cyber) security and access control where possibleMonitor system downtime and resource utilizationHardware Management: You will continuously manage the operational effectiveness of the branch's hardware, taking control of inventory, end of life, ordering, set up and retiring of all hardware.Software: You will have responsibility for troubleshooting software issues, roll out of new software solutions, the backup and storage of data and its security and the effective use of technical solutions that support operational performance.Solutions: In this role you will have the opportunity to build and develop solutions in conjunction with the operational teams, that drive efficiencies into the operational processes of the branch, supporting and or developing solutions that drive automation and optimization of productivityAdditional InformationExpeditors offers excellent benefits:
