Information Management Group, Inc. IMG is hiring an IT Support Specialist to oversee our corporate managed service provider services. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for growth in other IT related areas (networks, cabling, and infrastructure management) in addition to occasional travel to support customer sites.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Infrastructure Management & Technical OperationsLead the installation, maintenance, and organization of network infrastructure (e.g., cabling, enclosures, equipment, servers, and backups).Oversee software/hardware asset management, licensing, and lifecycle tracking.Provide technical support, resolve help desk issues, and manage user accounts and access controls.Implement and maintain disaster recovery and data backup systems.Cybersecurity & Compliance Oversight

Enforce cybersecurity standards to meet compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-171, CMMC).

Maintain technical documentation for audit readiness and compliance tracking.

Support policy documentation, track updates, and collaborate with teams to ensure ongoing regulatory alignment.

Project Coordination & Vendor/Team Management

Coordinate IT projects, including equipment deployment and infrastructure upgrades.

Assist in recruiting by evaluating technical candidates and reviewing resumes.

Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring service level and compliance expectations are met.

Qualifications

Requirements

4+ years of technical experience, to include facility-related activitiesExperience conducting technical interviews with understanding of basic employee life cycle activitiesExcellent customer service and communication skillsExperience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network hardware, cabling (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber), and data center equipmentExperience with IT software applications including Windows Server, SharePoint, Windows Office 365 Enterprise, and Website managementEnjoy working in a small team environmentAbility to travel up to 30% to customer sitesActive Secret clearance

 

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

NIST 800-171 compliance experience

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with CMMI and CMMC processes and compliance standards
