Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT or Network Support, with exposure to fibre optic and Layer 2 networks. Strong technical knowledge of VLANs, STP, Ethernet, MPLS, and L2 VPN. Hands-on experience with Layer 2 switches and fibre optic cabling/testing. Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while also supporting team escalations. Preferred:
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+). Knowledge of advanced Layer 2 technologies (VXLAN, QoS, L2VPN). Experience with automation/scripting for network management. Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
