Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is looking for an IT Support Analyst on the Optic, Payments/Credit, and DEX technology teams.
Summary:
The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of supporting the setup, installation, support and monitoring of Payment Terminals and related hardware, software, and databases; conducts monitoring and reviews; prepares documentation and specifications for installations; and performs testing related to troubleshooting issues.
Core Job Responsibilities:
* Directs field personnel in installing new payment terminal equipment and related hardware and software
* Provides accurate verbal instruction for diagnostics or installation as needed
* Configures and upgrades software on newly installed devices
* Identifies and corrects issues before a location is aware of a problem
* Manages multiple tickets and working them in order of priority
* Test new hardware and software and recommend changes as needed
* Responsible for providing advanced support on escalated calls from Store Support relating to hardware and/or software issues
* Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management
