Job Description
We’re seeking an IT Solution Architect to design, recommend, and implement robust technology solutions that support our retail supply chain and business operations. You’ll work end‑to‑end—from conceptual models through to physical deployment—ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture frameworks. This role requires deep technical acumen, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to balance innovation with security and total cost of ownership.
Responsibilities:
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions, upgrades, or retirements based on productivity, usability, and TCO
• Develop N+1 conceptual, logical, and physical views; create artifacts for end‑to‑end architecture documentation
• Partner with business and IT SMEs to refine requirements, focusing on service‑level criteria and data integration patterns
• Lead solution design reviews and articulate architectural decisions to business leaders and technical teams
• Contribute to enterprise‑wide guidelines, standards, and principles, and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in IT management or solutions architecture roles; retail experience preferred (2–3 years)
• Hands‑on experience with cloud & hybrid‑cloud design, data integration patterns/tools, and SOA/Microservices
• Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, vendor management integrations, and enterprise supply‑chain systems
• Strong understanding of network/security considerations for data flow, TCO modeling, and optimization algorithms
• Excellent communication, consensus‑building, and problem‑solving skills in fast‑paced environments
