Job DescriptionThe IT Software Asset Manager will support AECOM’s Global IT Asset and Configuration Management practice. This position will be the technical subject matter expert, and will interface with various technologies, business partners, and vendors to oversee and ensure accurate and complete software asset data, processes, and procedures. This role, in partnership with our strategic outsourcing provider, will deliver on key IT Software Asset Management practices including software deployment, license entitlements and allocations, and lifecycle management practices.
This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, combining in-office presence and remote work, and may be based in either Houston or Dallas, TX.
The IT Software Asset Manager will:
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS degree in finance, IT, engineering, business management or a related field plus at least 8 years of relevant IT experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Experience working in an IT Asset Management and Configuration Management (CMDB) roleExperience with ServiceNow (ITSM and SAM Pro)Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a similarly large, complex, global organizationExperience working with ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, ACC-V)Experience working with Microsoft SCCMExperience in coordinating with both internal IT delivery teams and external IT service providers handling digital technology assetsCross-functional IT experience in application or infrastructure managementCertifications
