Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesThe role of a Site IT Coordinator is to maintain the relationship between GIT and the site by assuring that the users are receiving the agreed service from GIT.
Manage the site's support with GIT: track the consistent performance of the system, ensure its functionality and direct its day to day utilization and upkeep.
• Manage IT graduates on-site concerning training, skills, objectives and results
• With the validation of GIT, carry out the following tasks:
o Collect and address site requests: Implement both new projects for local applications and infrastructures and improvements in the existing Information Systems, to ensure the right evolution. Ensure the ownership of the System by the user. If necessary, co-ordinate : training to user and application of the procedures.
• Give technical and functional first line support.
• Give techical and functional second level support to the users.
• Assuming the resolution of all kind of IT incidents reported by the users.
• Support of Shop Floor systems up to 2nd level.
• Ensure the application of Group standards, especially concerning hardware, software, security policies, software licenses control, inventory, etc.
• Define and apply IT procedures specific to the site
• Develop and track Disaster Recovery and backup plans for critical hardware and software systems to support the business.
• Report status on a monthly basis: create "dashboard/important indicators" and "important events" of the site, to share with the IT Manager and IT Area Manger; integrate into monthly "Action Plan" meeting in coordination with IT Manager and IT Area Manger.
• Monitor all critical systems, both on hardware and software level. React to problems to protect the site against preventable failures.
• Lead IT operational planning and projects related to IT infrastructure
Your profile and competencies to succeed
• Bachelor's degree with specialisation in Information Technology or more than 5 years IT administration experience
• Ability to communicate and to negotiate
• Industry related qualifications like SQL DBA,MCP,MCSE,A+, N+, CCNA
• Project Management
Experience in the following will be advantageous
• Vmware
• Lenovo Servers (Raid Configurations,Support and Installations)
• Networking like Cisco Equipment (Vlan's etc.)
• Active Directory (DHCP,DNS)
• Support skills in MES and TCO systems.
• Monitoring Systems
