We are currently seeking a IT Services Canada Country Manager to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).
The Country Manager for Canada NTT DATA is a critical, high-visibility role responsible for capturing significant growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability in the Canada market space, working across the firm’s broad suite of service offerings: Consulting (business and technology), Outsourcing Services across Business Process, Digital, Application, and Infrastructure practices, while innovating for the future, and elevating NTT DATA’s presence in Canada. This person will be the “Face of NTT DATA” in the Canadian market and will be responsible for building strong relationships at the C-level leadership, on both the business and IT sides. This leader will guide the country strategy for NTT DATA; assisting in identifying customer needs, contributing to the sale of NTT DATA’s offerings, guiding the development of market-leading solutions, driving revenue growth through a team of client executives, sales executives, and sub-vertical leaders, and ensuring, through a matrixed environment, the successful and profitable delivery of services, while personally serving as the executive sponsor to the largest clients in the business unit and recruiting additional talent into the business.
This position will provide strong leadership to a large team that is geographically dispersed throughout Canada. While operational leadership is important, NTT DATA expects this leader will have a strong market-facing focus, shaping strategy with clients, bolstering the account leadership and sales teams, and staying abreast of critical themes and trends in the Canadian market to shape strategy and offerings. Additionally, this person will focus heavily on optimizing NTT DATA’s strategic engagements to continue to fuel our business model
Responsibilities:
The Country Manager participates in strategy sessions, budget development and updates, legal matters, human resource personnel decisions and community philanthropic events Responsible for the entire Canadian portfolio including the traditional systems integration, infrastructure and applications businesses, as well as the Consulting and Advisory sub-vertical Management of a multi-hundred-million-dollar business with a particular focus on margin percentage attainment Create strategy to grow revenue and profit between 7-10% annually Drive the business to deliver technology solutions for Canadian clients throughout Canada Supervise team located throughout Canada Official Canadian representative of NTT DATA with senior leadership Serve as primary company spokesperson, advocate and champion, internally and externally on all issues relative to the growth of the Canadian business and related services and solutions Drive and improve operational efficiency, margin improvement and contract compliance/risk management Manage Sales and Client Executive team in achieving an annual TCV bookings target Presenter at Corporate senior leader conferences and strategy sessions Participate in Senior Executive Quarterly Business Reviews of existing accounts to monitor key performance metrics and contract compliance, as well as drive innovation to achieve continuous operational and margin improvements Evaluate M&A candidates for strategic value, organizational fit and cultural compatibility Play a key role in identifying market opportunities and help set short- and long-term strategies for the company Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer service Collaborate with strategic support unit teams from People & Culture, Finance and Legal Up to 60% travel to include international
Qualifications:
20 years of overall experience in I.T. Services and/or Consulting Firms to include experience leading large, distributed organizations across multiple regions in Canada 10 years’ experience of fostering collaboration across account/practice leadership and sales teams to bolster go-to-market strategy, drive growth and opportunity targets, operational efficiencies, and optimize customer engagement Demonstrate deep understanding of Canadian I.T Services market including emerging trends and challenges Track record of managing a multi-hundred-million-dollar portfolio/P&L Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or sales.
