IT Service Technician
Labcorp
Labcorp is seeking an IT Service Technician to join the team full-time. This person will work with Labcorp clients. Some of the assistance will include troubleshooting equipment, installing printers, monitors, etc. A majority of time will be spent training and supporting users on a website critical to ordering labs, receiving results, ordering supplies, scheduling specimen pickups, and more. This person will be highly visible as they will be interacting with clients on a daily basis. Come join an organization that is making a difference in people’s lives.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ The main duty of this position is to train, troubleshoot and support the LC Link website for LC customers and IOPs- this includes professional communication by phone, e-mail and in person with clients and sales
+ Maintaining equipment inventory, computerized databases, calendars, ticketing systems and training logs
+ Troubleshooting PCs, laser and label printers, monitors and other computer equipment
+ Helpdesk support and troubleshooting
+ Ability to learn different computer systems, databases, software and programs.
+ Additional IT duties, projects and assignments may be added.
+ Travel to client sites
+ Maintain accurate daily activity report, expense reports and mileage logs
**REQUIREMENTS**
+ Associates Degree preferred or 1-2 years of experience
+ IT Certifications preferred; A+ or Network+ Prior experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues
+ Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
+ Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
+ Ability to work independently or in a team environment
+ Flexibility to work overtime as needed
+ Clean driving record and ability to maintain a driver’s license required
+ Preference given to those that live in the Newark area due to coverage area of work
+ Must be willing to travel as this is a field technician position requiring daily travel to and from various locations
+ Tier 1 level helpdesk experience
+ Experience creating logins for websites
+ Basic IT skills
+ Clean driving record and ability to maintain a driver’s license required
**PREFERENCES**
+ Preference given to those in the Chantilly area due to this being a field technician position covering that area
+ Field technician experience is preferred
+ Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
+ Bilingual is preferred (English & Spanish)
**EDUCATION**
+ Associate’s Degree is preferred
+ A+ certification is preferred
