**Position Summary**
Carries out computer operations and provides user support through troubleshooting and performing maintenance. Resolves hardware and software issues to optimize system efficiency and uptime.
**Major Tasks and Responsibilities**
+ Installs basic hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment.
+ Conducts remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques.
+ Records and documents all issues from initial contact through resolution.
+ Monitors company systems around the clock to ensure interrupted service for employees.
+ Reports internet and circuit outages and collaborates with Internet Service Providers to restore service.
+ Provides service access, follows up on requests, and maintains current information.
+ Conducts daily maintenance and reports system performance.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Associate degree in computer science or a related field.
+ Service desk or customer support experience.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
+ Basic troubleshooting and technical support skills.
Pay Rate: $19.86 - $22.85 per hour, based on experience
