Our team is looking for a motivated and experienced IT Service Continuity Lead in Athens to work with client/s in the European Public sector such as European Commission European Patent Office, European Medicines Agency, United Nations and NATO.

Your role:

You will develop business continuity plans. You will create, implement, and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans that address potential risks and disruptions.Risk assessment. You will conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize business continuity initiatives.Training and awareness. You will develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees understand their roles in business continuity efforts.Testing and exercises. You will organize and facilitate regular testing and simulation exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of business continuity plans.Crisis management coordination. You will lead the response to crises and disruptions, coordinating with internal teams and external partners as necessary.Continuous improvement. You will regularly review and update business continuity plans based on lessons learned from tests, incidents, and changes in the business environment.Stakeholder engagement. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of business continuity strategies with organizational goals.Reporting. You will prepare and present reports on business continuity status, risks, and improvement initiatives to senior management.

Your profile: 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, MSP, or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC).7+ years of experience in IT project/programme management.Proven track record of delivering large-scale IT programmes.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, Agile, SAFe).Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.You are a strategic thinker. You have the ability to develop long-term strategies to ensure business continuity and resilience.You posses strong leadership. You are capable of leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.You are an excellent communicator. You are proficient in conveying complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including executives and staff.You are detail-oriented. You are meticulous in planning and executing business continuity plans, ensuring all aspects are covered.You are a problem solver. You posses strong analytical skills to identify potential disruptions and develop effective contingency plans.
