IT Senior Auditor (Infrastructure)

About this role:

The Enterprise Technology Audit Group (ETAG) is looking to fill an IT Senior Auditor who will support the audit coverage of Wells Fargo's core technology environments (e.g., Network, Mainframe, Midrange, Distributed, Database, Data Center, etc.), Cloud Computing, Technology Resiliency & Disaster Recovery, and IT Service Operations.   


In this role, you will:

Perform audit testing components of assigned audits within multiple segments of the Audit PlanPlan and execute independent audit testing and ensure that they are timely and accurateIdentify and assess key risks and controlsExecute and document work in accordance with Wells Fargo Audit Services policyIdentify and develop compensating controls that mitigate audit findings and make recommendations to managementInform manager of situational issues that might compromise objectivity or independenceDesign and execute tests to verify control effectivenessDocument work papers according to the standards of the Internal Audit policy and guidanceDemonstrate professional skepticism while performing major components of auditsLead smaller scale audits or projectsDevelop ways to improve existing audit practicesDevelop effective test plans for engagements as assigned with limited guidanceParticipate in projects as directedDevelop business partnerships within Internal Audit and with teams companywide through professional communication and clear audit deliverables


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Audit, Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Audit and technical (i.e., hands on) experience within one of the following areas:  Networking, Cloud Computing, Data Center operations and recovery, and Technology Resiliency Disaster Recovery.Experience with managing a cloud environment (i.e., Azure and GCP) or closely performing audits over the cloud environment3+ years of IT Audit experienceExperience at a like-sized financial institution or accounting firmA BS/BA degree or higher in a related field such as Accounting, Financial, Computer Science, or Information Systems/Management Information SystemsCertification in one or more of the following: CISA, CISSP, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Google Certified Professional (GCP) Cloud Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or other technology audit related certificationsKnowledge of IT, information security, and control frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework and 800-53, CIS Top 20 Critical Security Controls, FFIEC IT Examination Handbooks, COBIT, FedRAMP, ISO 2700x, ITIL)Familiarity with server, network, database, and application security hardeningSolid knowledge and understanding of audit or risk methodologies and supporting toolsStrong understanding of financial regulatory environmentExperience with Issue Validation and RemediationExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills


Job Expectations:

Ability to travel up to 10% of the timeThis position does not offer VISA sponsorship

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$77,000.00 - $133,000.00
