IT Security Administrator (Full-Time)
Description

We have an opportunity for an IT Security Administrator to join our team. Working under moderate supervision, this team member is responsible for overseeing access levels and security controls to safeguard patient, employee, and system data.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday – Friday, general business hoursWork is onsite at least two days per week, at our Johnston location


What You’ll Do

Security Management: Manage security tools, assess vulnerabilities, monitor for threats, and stay current on emerging risks. Evaluate policy exceptions, oversee remediation efforts, and recommend improvements to strengthen system security.Security Documentation: Educate and communicate security requirements and procedures to all employees and partners. Author and maintain IT Security related procedure. Log, analyze, and report on security incidents. Risk Assessment: Identify network risks, support security projects, follow change management protocols, and assist with risk assessments and mitigation planning.Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance by collaborating with business, legal, and compliance teams to review vendor terms, assess risks, and document exceptions.

 

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field. Experience may be counted instead of education.Three years of experience working in Information Technology or a related field.Understanding of information security principles and practices. Working experience with networking, security, compute, infrastructure, project management. Healthcare and HIPAA experience, preferred.Industry recognized security certification, preferred.Experience with EDR/XDR, SIEM, Firewalls, MDM, and VPN technologies, preferredNIST 2.0, ISO 27000 series, ITIL, COBIT, Lifecycle Management, and Project Management methodologies, preferred.Ability to exercise confidentiality regarding the affairs of clients, staff, their families, and ChildServe business. Ability to maintain positive working relationships and demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population.Work visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
