Job Title: Entry-Level Technical Recruiter Location: On-site – New Haven, CT Industry: Staffing / Professional Services Overview: A nationally recognized talent solutions firm is hiring Entry-Level Technical Recruiters to join its external delivery team in New Haven. What You’ll Do: + Make high-volume outbound calls to identify and recruit IT professionals for contract roles + Conduct phone interviews to assess candidate fit and build strong relationships + Partner with account managers to understand client needs and deliver qualified candidates + Build and maintain a pipeline of tech talent through cold calling, networking, and referrals + Manage candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure timely follow-up + Receive hands-on training and mentorship in staffing, sales strategy, and client delivery What We’re Looking For: + No prior recruiting or HR experience required + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred + Must be comfortable with cold calling and high-volume outreach + Strong communication skills and a competitive, goal-oriented mindset + Go-getter attitude — someone who’s hungry to learn, grow, and win + Willingness to go above and beyond to meet goals and support the team + This is a sales-driven recruiting role, not an HR position Schedule & Compensation: + Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM + On-site in New Haven, CT + Base Salary: $40,000–$45,000 annually + Uncapped Commission – earn based on performance + Full-time, permanent role with long-term career growth potential Work Environment: Join a fun, energetic, and collaborative team that thrives on competition, celebrates wins, and supports each other’s growth.
