IT Quality Manager

NTT Data Greece team is looking for an IT Quality Manager in Athens with a strong background in business analysis, reporting, software delivery, and release management to join our IT Service Management team and to work with our clients in the European public sector.

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects by embedding quality at every stage of the lifecycle.

Your role:

Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy for IT projects, ensuring adherence to EC standards and best practices.Establish and maintain quality control processes to identify and address defects and deviations throughout the delivery life cycle.Continuously assess and enhance existing processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and monitor the impact on overall quality.Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in IT processes and systems.  Develop risk mitigation strategies and work with project teams to integrate risk management into the project life cycle.Define/Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to measure the success of IT projects.Generate regular reports for management, highlighting quality trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with defined policies, EC/industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address findings and implement corrective actions.Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the awareness of quality standards and best practices among IT teams. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement across IT teams.Evaluate and monitor the quality of deliverables from other service providers.

Your profile:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in quality assurance methodologies, processes, and tools.Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma).7+ years of experience in IT project/programme management.Proven track record of delivering large-scale IT programmes.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, Agile, SAFe). Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards in IT (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 20001, CMMI, GDPR).Leadership skills to inspire and guide a team toward achieving quality objectives.You must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality in required).
