We are looking for a motivated Project Manager with a strong technical background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing data-focused projects, preferably data migration initiatives, within an IT environment. This role requires excellent communication skills in fluent English and the ability to work with diverse international teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
As a Project Manager, you will plan, coordinate, and oversee technical projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they meet business objectives, timelines, and quality standards. You will interact closely with clients and technical teams (Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Developers) to understand requirements, define scope, manage risks, and track progress.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate data-related projects, with emphasis on data migration or data integration initiatives.Define project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and resource plans.Work closely with stakeholders, clients, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable plans.Monitor project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.Prepare clear project documentation, status reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Ensure solutions adhere to security, quality, and compliance standards.Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to data management and IT projects.Facilitate meetings, workshops, and reviews with cross-functional teams.Support testing and validation phases in collaboration with technical teams (Data quality)Requirements:
Experience in IT project management will be highly valued, with a track record of delivering data-related or data migration projects.Strong technical background (Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred).Solid understanding of data migration, data integration, or ETL processes is a strong advantage.Familiarity with common IT tools, project management methodologies, and the software development life cycle (SDLC).Knowledge of the insurance industry components and processes is not mandatory, but highly valued.Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to work effectively in distributed, multicultural teams and build positive client relationships.Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, , Agile) are a plus.What will you find at DXC?
