IT Project Manager
Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager who has specific experience with the software development lifecycle. This individual, depending on timing, may be jumping into a project that is already in progress they will receive a knowledge transfer from the PM team manager and be expected to drive this project to completion. This individual will be responsible for communicating effectively across both technical and non-technical teams to ensure Ryder is delivering value and outcomes as expected. They will help Identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate these risks, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption. They will also be responsible for managing project budgets and financials. Compensation Range: $50/hr to $60/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements Req - 5+ years of relevant Project Management experience - Experience with MS Project, SPM/ServiceNOW or similar Project Management tracking tools - Strong experience leading projects related to the software development lifecycle, with understanding of functional solutions vs. technical application/design vs. non-functional requirements (i.e. security, performance) - Able to take project deliverables and develop an appropriate, tactical project plan. - Has successfully managed both Agile and Waterfall projects. - Experience managing project finances and overall budget for capital projects has successfully managed a budget of 2M- Excellent communication skills oral, written, presentation -- and ability to work seamlessly across both technical and non-technical teams. - Skilled in using Microsoft Office tools Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams/SharePoint, Visio, Mural - Able to work independently and take initiative to solve problems, remove blockers, or resolve team conflicts - Bachelors degree or equivalent technical PM experience - Experience within the Transportation Management solutions, Distribution Management solutions, Logistics Planning solutions or other Supply Chain technology preferred - PMP and/or CSM Certification preferred. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
