IT Project Manager
A client of Insight Global is seeking an IT Project Manager to spearhead the implementation of IT infrastructure and vendor application services within a regulated industry. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless integration and support of technology solutions while adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of project management expertise, leadership, technical acumen, and regulatory knowledge within the racing and gaming sectors. The Project Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating project team members, ensuring they take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, they understand business requirements and translate them into actionable project plans. The Project Manager develops and maintains project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans, manages project risks, and issues, and implements mitigation strategies to ensure project success. They coordinate with vendors to procure necessary hardware, software, and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, they oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of IT infrastructure components, including network systems, servers, and security measures. The Project Manager facilitates system testing and training sessions to ensure a smooth transition of IT services into production. They ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained and accessible for reporting purposes, and monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and deviations from the project plan. This is a contract opportunity with one of the most well-established organizations in the Louisville area.
