Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in complex SAP ERP implementation and infrastructure project management. This role requires a balance of expertise in technical project management, leadership, and strategic business acumen.

 

 

Responsibilities

Define project scope, goals, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Oversee a portfolio of projects, managing dependencies and interactions between projects to ensure alignment with broader business objectives. Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments, if necessary, during the project cycle. Mentor and develop junior project managers, providing guidance and support in project management principles and practices. Identify and manage project budget, risks, dependencies, and critical path. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus. Minimum of 10 years of direct work experience in IT project management infrastructure and applications, with at least 4 years focused on SAP ERP implementations. Extensive knowledge of SAP ERP systems, their implementation, and best practices.

 

 

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Flexible/hybrid working, 25% travel across Europe

Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and manage complex IT projects. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization. Must be comfortable with directing and managing change in a dynamic environment. Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
