The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager who can confidently lead complex initiatives that involve both agile and traditional project management methodologies. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders—translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within scope, particularly those involving data transfer or system migration efforts. Responsibilities:

Lead project teams with a focus on guiding the teams toward improving the way they work; facilitating sprint planning, retrospective and demosActing as release / deliverable manager and assisting the product owner and business analysts with managing the product and release backlogsBuilding project management office, assisting in risk identification, resource management and other project governance activitiesRemoving all obstacles to project team efficiency and effectiveness; reaching out to the larger project team for impediment removal; ensuring cross-team coordinationIdentifying and maintaining relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing and inform project leaders and product owner.Partnering to ensure that our development activities are consistent across teamsLiaising between developers and project stakeholders; fostering quality communication between software engineering disciplinesTaking responsibility for managing product releases and dependencies between teams and third parties or between assigned teams and other Scrum teamsAnalyzing new and complex project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools and solution componentsEnsuring appropriate staffing for assigned projects or tasks; developing personnelScheduling and allocating work, providing advice and guidance, and resolving problems to meet technical performanceDeveloping new and refining existing process to enhance quality and productivityEnsuring product quality and timeliness of efforts
 

Qualifications:

Required: 

College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.Certified Scrum Master/Scrum Practitioner with demonstrated experience with Scrum teams or Project management professional certification Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong software development background, with a minimum of three (3) solid years’ experience facilitating incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approachUnderstanding of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release managementHighly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starterProfessional Experience: 8+ years related technical experience


Desired:

Cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or MS AzurePrevious CDC experience

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
