Job Summary Manages all aspects (end-to-end project lifecycle) of a diverse group of IT projects, typically involving multiple Disciplines (i.e., infrastructure and applications) in the IT Function | Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct matrixed project teams and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met | Ability to work with varying project management methodologies/frameworks (i.e. Waterfall, Scrum/Agile) and tools for team collaboration, project tracking/management, and issue/risk resolution. Impact of the Role General ProfileRequires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilitiesContinues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customersPerforms a range of assignments related to job discipline Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situationsReceives a moderate level of guidance and directionConsistent exercise of discretion & judgment Essential Functions Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards and meet customer expectations. Manages technical and non-technical aspects of the project. Plans, schedules, and ensures timely completion of the project. Assembles project teams and manages resource allocation and day-to-day operations of the project. Serves as liaison between team members and management team regarding projects. Incorporates quality measures and standards to project deliverables. Possesses strong knowledge of technology. Required Qualifications Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or ExperienceCritical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's DegreeDiscipline/Major: Information Technology or related degree preferred.Knowledge, skills & abilities: Change Management. Fit/Gap Analysis. Project Administration. Project Controls. Project Documentation. Project Implementation. Project Lifecycle Management (PLM). Project Planning. Project Scheduling. Project Scoping. Aerospace and defense industry experience a plus
