Job Purpose
The Associate Director – IT Project Management will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of major IT projects and budget for the region Americas. The project manager will work within a cross-functional team of business and IT resources located globally to manage the IT related parts of the project. This person is responsible for all aspects of PMO portfolio management handling new project request, managing existing projects, consolidating IT budget while setting new PMO process and working within proper PM tools.
This is a hybrid role based out of Northbrook, IL.
Key Accountabilities
• Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources
• Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
• Managing overall PMO portfolio, assigning projects, managing projects, and managing project and overall IT budget/finance
• Identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects
• Identifying resources and properly staffing projects
• Project prioritization in conjunction with the business
• Assisting in the definition of project scope and goals
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
• Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
• Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
• Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
• Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed
• Motivating people involved in the project to complete tasks on time
• Managing people who may not directly report to them to ensure timely project completions
• All other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Background
• 7+ years of managing high-profile projects, managing PMO portfolios and setting process
• Bachelor’s degree or specialized training / equivalent work experience preferred
• Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework
• PMI/PMO certification or other type of project management certification
• Direct experience implementing Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solutions highly preferred
• Strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills
• Proven experience engaging cross-functional teams and external partners to drive large-scale program execution
• Comfortable leading regional IT governance forums and contributing to global IT governance initiatives
• Familiarity & working experience with Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and SAP S/4HANA implementation preferred
• Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum)
• Experience managing international projects (European, North and South America)
• Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration

As of the date of this posting, the estimated pay range for this role is $135k-$160k plus eligibility to participate in the annual discretionary bonus plan. The actual pay for the position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, skills, education, location, and internal equity. This range may be subject to change over time.
