IT Product Owner - Applications Director

As IT Product Director/Owner for the RCM Technology and Innovations Department, you will be accountable for the strategic direction, roadmap development and feature definition of a product or product line within the assigned domain. In this position, you will serve as a subject matter expert on all relevant products and associated processes, fostering strong, consultative relationships with operational leadership to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Utilizing agile methodology, this role will lead cross-functional teams to ensure effective work prioritization and timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Collaborating with frontline and iteration managers, you will coordinate execution and maintain delivery excellence while monitoring industry trends and vendor product capabilities to inform product strategy and drive innovation. This role carries full budgetary oversight and human resource management responsibilities for the designated product line and is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to advance their IT career into a leadership role. **A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Define market requirements, product roadmaps and package the features into product releases for the assigned product capabilities. + Use scenario and create/maintain prioritized product backlogs. + Define and track metrics critical to the success of product features. + Scope and prioritize work against value stream and across team. + Build strong working relationships with operational and clinical leaders (strategic business partners) to determine future product direction and assist in the successful design and launch of new capabilities. + Develop strategic and technical business plans and oversee key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis. + Develop budgets, resource utilization plans, allocations and contingency availability plans. + Direct the overall operations of the community to improve costs, performance and end-user satisfaction. + Direct front line managers and provide guidance, evaluate performance and recommend training. + Build and facilitate the team toward greater speed, quality and productivity. + Influence cross-functional leaders to effectively execute on product strategy. + Maintain an understanding of industry trends and vended product capabilities. + Drive a solution set across development teams through user requirements, product goals, and internal product positioning + Be accountable for the performance and outcomes of the Revenue integrity teams and Epic EHR and EMPI Analysts. + Partner and collaborate with other product line directors to ensure capabilities are shared across themes, creating team capacity for further growth and development. + Own business requirements, financials and roadmaps for technical strategies that focus on aligned technical delivery. + Partner with senior leadership to drive collaboration and optimize technology performance. + Leverage consumer/customer insights, product segmentation and development and implementation strategies to fine tune solutions that deliver on provider and patient needs. + Collaborate with various stakeholders to support overall ITD Intake process. + Support the execution of agile practices throughout community and squads in partnership with Domain Advisor. + Provide leadership to direct and indirect reports. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Bachelor's Degree OR four years of additional functionally related technical experience AND 10 years of functionally related technical experience with a minimum of five years leadership experience managing people, process or technology OR Master's degree and five years of functionally related technical experience with five years leadership experience managing people, process or technology + ITIL Foundations certification required within 6 months of hire + Demonstrated leadership ability with cross-functional teams + Strong negotiation, problem solving, planning and decision-making skills + Demonstrated ability to lead major initiatives Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Master's Degree + Epic Resolute Certification + Experience implementing or performing project initiatives at an EPIC or EHR entity + Management experience over IT or rev cycle shop / healthcare entity Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
