The IT Product Manager / Business Relationship Manager (IT PM/BRM) is a hybrid leadership role accountable for both the strategic alignment of IT solutions with business objectives and the successful delivery and lifecycle management of IT products and services. This position acts as a connector, navigator, and orchestrator—building strong partnerships between IT and business units, while leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, value-driven technology solutions that enable business transformation.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Partnership & Business AlignmentBuild and maintain productive relationships with business stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.Shape, stimulate, and prioritize business demand for IT solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategies.Translate business needs into strategic roadmaps and executable IT product portfolios.Facilitate business strategic planning efforts that enable or improve business capabilities through technology.Product & Portfolio ManagementLead the end-to-end lifecycle of IT products and services, from ideation through delivery, support, and continuous improvement.Develop and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for IT products/services, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business value.Oversee financial management for product families, including budgeting, vendor contracts, and total cost of ownership.Drive the development of detailed specifications for complex services and features.Value Delivery & PerformanceEnsure IT solutions deliver measurable business value and meet agreed-upon service levels.Monitor and report on key business and IT performance indicators, using dashboards and metrics to drive decisions and continuous improvement.Lead the collection and prioritization of high-level business demand, ensuring effective portfolio management and value realization.Develop and socialize business cases, defining and tracking the realization of business value.Leadership & CollaborationLead and mentor cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, product leads, and delivery partners (both full-time and contracted).Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team and across the organization.Facilitate regular operating rhythms with stakeholders to address strategic and operational opportunities and issues.Represent the business area to IT and IT to the business, ensuring mutual understanding and shared ownership.Process & Change ManagementDrive adoption of new and existing technologies, leveraging enterprise solutions to meet or exceed business needs.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to transform business capabilities and processes for greater fitness-for-purpose and fitness-for-use.Ensure compliance with external policies, regulations, and industry standards.Manage and control changes to products and services, assessing and mitigating risks to business objectives.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).Proven experience in IT Product Management and/or Business Relationship Management roles.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex product/service portfolios.Strong financial acumen and experience with vendor management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with Agile methodologies and portfolio management tools is a plus.Fluent EnglishSpanish its a plus
