We are looking for an IT Product Expert Professional, to be hired with a permanent contract in Rome within the IT Center Of Competences Optimization area.

Your Challenge

As IT Product Expert Professional you will refer directly to the international Product Owner, and you will able to apply your expertise and experience in innovative software products. As part of the team, you will lay the foundation for implementing sophisticated solutions in the field of railway software. Your responsibilities span the support of the Product Manager, especially for the entire lifecycle of requirements for our product, from gathering, analysis, implementation, and testing to managing the requirements.

Your main tasks include: Defining functional and non-functional requirements for our software together with internal and external stakeholders. Conducting and moderating analysis workshops internally and with customers. Ensuring the completeness and comprehensibility of the requirements. Monitoring changes in requirements and their impact on ongoing projects. Tracking all requirements (implementation, changes, acceptance). Being responsible for the clarity of all requirements and an underlying change management process. Creating and presenting product demonstrations at trade shows, customer meetings, internal gatherings, and other events to engage stakeholders. Conducting market research to understand user needs, market trends, and competitive landscape Support the Product Manager in creating the product roadmap Ensuring the product meets quality standards through testing and feedback loops

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

Completed studies in the field of railway traffic sciences or a comparable qualification. Professional experience (5-7 years) in railway operations or planning. Agile methodologies (confluence, Jira …) Requirement engineering tools ( ex Polarion) Professional experience in requirements engineering is desirable. Knowledge in creating requirements documentation and specifications. Experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Excellent communication skills (English) and the ability to meet the expectations of all stakeholders.
