Job Title: **IT PMO Program Manager (SAP Domain)** **Position Details:** + **Work Location: 100% Remote, must be required to work EST hours.** + **Hours/Work Schedule: Full-time -40 hours/week, 8 am -5 pm (EST).** + **Interview Process: 1st Round Pre-Screening Interview with Supplier (Video Recording; 2nd Round Panel Interview with Corning team (one additional round may be required if necessary).** + **DOD Compliant Required - Candidates must be compliant with DOD requirements.** + **Travel: 5% to Charlotte, NC area.** + **11-months contract with possibility of extension based on demand.** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT PMO Program Manager with specialized domain expertise in SAP ERP platforms (on-premises and cloud-based). The ideal candidate will lead multiple concurrent projects and possess deep technical knowledge, excellent leadership capabilities, and familiarity with SAP's Agile methodologies, such as SAP Activate. This role is critical to driving successful delivery of SAP initiatives, including migrations, upgrades, and integrations, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards. **Key Responsibilities:** **Program & Project Leadership:** + Manage and oversee all aspects of multiple concurrent projects within the SAP domain, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. + Act as a servant leader to project teams, resolving technical and operational challenges to meet key milestones. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, vendors, and development teams, to facilitate effective communication and alignment. **SAP-Specific Project Management:** + Lead SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA migration projects, including planning, execution, and risk mitigation. + Drive SAP integration initiatives, connecting core ERP systems to cloud SaaS solutions or other on-premises systems. + Manage upgrade projects involving Basis, Server Architecture, and database considerations. + Implement SAP Activate methodology for project delivery, ensuring compliance with SAP standards and best practices. **Technical Expertise:** + Provide domain knowledge across SAP ECC modules such as FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, HCM, QM, and PS. + Utilize expertise in SAP S/4HANA Cloud architecture, SAP Fiori, embedded analytics, and integration capabilities. + Understand SAP HANA database advantages and cloud infrastructure services (e.g., AWS, Azure). + Leverage tools like SAP Solution Manager for SAP environment management and custom programming languages such as ABAP. **Communication & Reporting:** + Create and execute communication plans for projects, including status updates, stakeholder interactions, milestone announcements, and governance correspondence. + Use tools such as RAID logs, risk registers, and issue logs to monitor and resolve project issues. + Conduct retrospective meetings and lessons-learned reviews to drive continuous improvement. **Governance & Compliance:** + Ensure adherence to mandatory governance models, including SOX, NIST, and DoD standards, based on project risk scores. + Maintain required artifacts in the project repository and ensure alignment with Corning Quality Processes. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (required), (Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred). + Minimum of 7+ years of project management experience, specifically focused on SAP (Premise + Cloud) projects. + Proven track record of managing multiple project efforts in parallel with exposure to SAP’s Agile methodologies. + Experience with migrations from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, including data conversion and change management processes. + Must have experience with broad development environment management capabilities. + Hire justification: New demand to prep for migration. + 1st phase of project: Discovery process, scaled to drive execution and framed for final scope. + Heavy knowledge in the SAP/ERP space (implementing. migrations, deployment). + There will be a lot of preparation tasks – Prep projects. + Must have program management level of experience in the PMO space. + Experience leading efforts in SAP landscape. + Experience with Cloud base perspectives & modules. + No Direct reports. + Must be able to have conversations with upper leadership. + Must have experience in integration work, migration, deployment, and data migrations. + Must have an active PMP certification – providing # and dates active listed in resume. **Leadership & Management:** + 7+ years of direct supervisory experience with virtual teams. + The ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating and inspiring team members. + Demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills to ensure project continuity and success **Certifications:** + Must have active Project Management Institute PMP Certified (mandatory) - Candidate must provide PMP Certification # on resume + Scrum Certified and Agile Certified (preferred). + Domain certifications in SAP or related fields (highly desirable). **Technical Skills & Tools:** + Proficiency in Planview Modules for portfolio management, project tracking, and Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, and Kanban Boards. + Experience with digital transformation initiatives and automation of manual project management processes. **Preferred Attributes:** + Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to handle stress in fast-paced environments. + Self-directing, with the ability to manage ambiguous tasks effectively. + Ability to influence without formal authority and foster alignment across diverse stakeholders. **Pay Transparency:** + This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is **$60.00/hour - $80.00/hour** . + Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).
