General Description:
Provide on-site and remote technical support for all IT systems and applications, including laptops, desktops, servers (both onsite and cloud), printers, networks, peripherals, and vendor software. Maintain knowledge of all company IT infrastructure and systems. Help with infrastructure projects and initiatives. Meet all company KPIs and adhere to SLAs. A combination of duties as a systems administrator, a network administrator, a cloud administrator, and a service desk/help desk.
Principal Responsibilities:
+ Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 IT support for all service desk tickets and enterprise hardware /software by utilizing our IT service desk ticketing tool (ServiceNow) to provide support and consistently achieve service commitments.
+ Provide extraordinary IT customer service experience to all users and uphold the highest degree of professionalism and follow-through by providing communication on a frequent basis with all end users as tickets and issues are resolved.
+ Support, implement, and maintain various IT systems including O365, Okta, Active Directory, Amazon AWS, MaaS360, Tanium, ServiceNow, etc.
+ Provide support for:
+ Physical office hardware including laptops, desktops
+ Physical enterprise hardware including servers, switches, routers, and storage devices
+ Cloud infrastructure
+ Company cell phones (currently iPhones)
+ 3rd party lab equipment software
+ Remote access solutions such as VPN and RDP.
+ Manage Windows OS patching process for all workstations to ensure IT security compliance.
+ Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding, including computer provisioning/repurposing and account management.
+ Maintain IT systems knowledge base articles, document various IT systems and processes.
+ Participate in and support cyber security incidents and initiatives, and act always with a security mindset.
+ Document IT assets and keep asset database current.
+ Dispose of old and unneeded IT assets, following the company’s e-waste recycling process.
+ Deploy new workstations and servers into the environment (both on-site and cloud).
+ Monitor and report licensing to ensure compliance on a periodic basis.
+ Attend CAB meetings and submit change requests for all planned work
+ Travel to other North America locations as required
+ Carry out other such duties as may be assigned or requested
Required Skills/Experience:
+ Basic IT troubleshooting for end users – Windows laptops, cell phones (iPhones), cloud (AWS), servers, network.
+ Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
+ Infrastructure knowledge – both on-prem and cloud
+ Networking knowledge
+ AWS and/or Azure Cloud experience
+ Active Directory (GPOs, DNS, DHCP, Domains/Trusts) experience
+ Microsoft O365 experience
+ VMWare and/or Hyper-V experience
Preferred Experience:
+ ServiceNow, CyberArk, LastPass, Okta, Maas360, Tanium, smtp.com
+ Setting up/configuring firewalls, routers, switches, internet circuits
+ Architecture (infrastructure related) experience
+ Apple/Mac, Unix/Linux, Server hardware experience
Education:
+ Bachelor’s in computer science or relevant IT certifications: MCITP, MCSE/MCSA, CCNA, CCNP, Net+, A+
+ 5+ years of related experience
Travel: 15% as required

+ Frequency Definitions: Constant = Over 40% / Frequent = Up to 40% / Occasional = Up to 10%

Hourly Rate: The estimated hourly rate for this position ranges from:
$45.00 - $55.00/hr
Individual pay is based upon location, skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible for an incentive program or profit-sharing program in addition to their base salary.
