We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to become our Operation Center Administrator Coordinator. This pivotal role is responsible for guiding a team of administrators to ensure the continuous health, performance, and stability of BRP’s global IT ecosystem.
The Coordinator will not only contribute to daily operations but will also drive the strategy for proactive monitoring, lead major incident response, and mentor a team dedicated to operational excellence across our network infrastructure, corporate solutions, and critical applications.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Operation Center Administrators, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure complete 24/7 operational coverage.
Set performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and support the professional growth of your team members.
Act as the primary escalation point for the team, providing guidance and making critical decisions during high-pressure situations.
Strategic Oversight & Process Evolution:
Proactive Monitoring & Event Management: Lead the evolution and optimization of BRP’s event management strategy, leveraging industry best practices to enhance predictive monitoring capabilities. Oversee the management of advanced monitoring tools, ensuring the team maintains real-time visibility into all production systems.
Incident & Problem Management: Direct the team’s response to major incidents, serving as the central commander and primary point of communication for senior leadership and business stakeholders. Drive the root cause analysis (RCA) process, ensuring that findings are translated into concrete preventative measures and assigned to the appropriate teams.
Alarm Governance: Spearhead the alarm governance strategy, leading collaborations with project teams to define effective alarms for new systems. Empower the team to analyze alarm data and refine thresholds to reduce false positives and improve signal clarity.
Change Management Oversight: Serve as the primary liaison between the Operations Center and change management teams. Direct the team in monitoring post-change activities and provide strategic oversight on the potential impact of changes across the IT landscape.
Operational Excellence & Reporting:
Champion the development, maintenance, and execution of comprehensive runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistency and quality across the team.
As Operation center coordinator, you will be directly accountable for the complete lifecycle of incidents and problems handled by the Operation Center. You will ensure meticulous follow-up and drive issues to a swift and effective resolution within defined service level agreements.
Oversee the execution of all production and batch jobs, ensuring the team proactively addresses any delays or failures according to established protocols.
Review and consolidate end-of-shift operations status reports, providing clear, concise summaries and trend analysis to I&T leadership.
Ensure optimal environmental conditions for IT equipment by directing the team's monitoring and maintenance of data center facilities.
Manage relationships and escalations with third-party service providers to ensure swift incident resolution.
Implement and manage advanced monitoring tools to ensure real-time visibility into the performance and availability of all production systems, batch jobs, and critical business processes.
Collaborate with project teams to define and implement new alarms related to new equipment and systems.
Collaborate with change management teams to ensure monitoring is in place for new or modified services and to identify potential risks associated with ongoing changes.
Regularly review and refine alarm thresholds to decrease the number of false positives.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Experience & Technical Acumen:
Computer Science or equivalent career
Demonstrated experience in a medium to large-sized corporate I&T environment with a deep understanding of IT operations, ITIL frameworks, and best practices.
Minimum of 10+ years of I&T support experience with a proven progression to more complex responsibilities, or 5+ years of dedicated system administrator experience.
Proven experience in a lead or senior role, with a track record of mentoring junior team members, coordinating team activities, and driving operational improvements.
Exposure to managing and monitoring complex multi-site infrastructure and network environments.
Hands-on technical experience with exposure to both end-user and manufacturing facility IT environments.
Leadership & Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with proven experience in motivating a technical team and managing stakeholder expectations.
Experienced in operating effectively within both direct and matrix reporting organizational structures.
Passionate about instilling a culture of customer service excellence and building collaborative relationships with business partners.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, particularly during critical incidents.
Proficiency in English is required due to our globally located workforce and daily interface with leaders in countries where BRP operates.
