THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Manager Logistics and Warehouse Operations TMS is responsible for both project and steady support of Ulta’s Transportation Management System. Initial responsibilities will include the deployment and integration of TMS at Ulta. This will include participating in requirements, design, build out and test. As the initial deployment ends the role will transition to enhancements and 24x7 steady state support of all Ulta’s Distribution & Transportation applications. This role will manage several cross functional relationships with third party vendors, IT, and Supply Chain to ensure an optimal support and enhancement process. YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY: Owns application support for all Ulta’s transportation applications including TMS, rate shopping, and freight payment management. Lead functional and technical analysts and ensure ongoing improvements for TMS and rate shopping tool installs. Build and maintains the incident creation, definition, escalation, and remediation process. Drives incident communication and update process with IT and Supply Chain leadership Manages onshore and offshore teams responsible for application support. Lead outage calls until operations are restored. Manage the relationship with the supply chain technology providers to ensure application enhancements, customization, and new releases meet Ulta’s needs. Responsible for scaling strategy to support Ulta’s supply chain’s peak season along with capturing/implementing lessons learned. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Drives monthly patching and validation process for transportation applications. Builds consistent support mechanisms and escalation paths. Owns root cause analysis for all transportation incidents including development of preventative measures to minimize future impact. Develops and integrate monitoring solutions to sustain and improve application performance. Coordinates break-fix & enhancements to improve transportation application performance and uptime. Responsible for SOX compliant code installation. Builds and develop talent that drives a winning culture. Network with Transportation , IT leadership, and Supply Chain leadership to ensure optimal support is in place. Continually evolve the team through introduction and deployment of industry leading practices ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field Proven in-depth understanding of Supply Chain Strategies, Design, Systems and Processes. Ability to align technology solutions with evolving business needs in logistics and supply chain environments Minimum 5-7 plus years in a technical leadership or IT management role At least 5 years hands on experience with TMS or other relevant supply chain applications (i.e. WMS) preferred Strong SQL development skills, with the ability to write SQL statements ranging from medium to high complexity. Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to successfully execute initiatives with minimal guidance and accomplish the stated goals. Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, drive and accept accountability across an integrated team in a production support environment across multiple geographies. Extensive experience managing and delivering large scale supply chain application deployments Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders, associates and all levels of management. Willingness and ability to work extended hours, including weekends, as required by business needs and system support demands. #LI - ML1 #LI - HYBRID The pay range for this position is $119,300.00 - $170,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
