$15.97 PER HOUR
GENERAL PURPOSE
The primary purpose of this job is to assist the IT Support Team with a wide range of projects related to Information Technology. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills he or she may have acquired in school related to his or her particular areas of interest, and apply them in a professional setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Respond to and resolve Help Desk tickets.
· Manage workstation imaging, patching and management system.
· Develop processes and procedures for network and systems projects.
· Develop documentation for internal processes and procedures.
· Travel to stores to repair end user equipment and software.
MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist Manager, Systems Admins, Network Admins and IT Support associates as needed.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned

· Consistent and daily interaction with all of Harmons Technology Associates

A high school diploma or GED equivalent:
· Ability to use Office applications in an IT context for documentation and inventory purposes.
· Basic familiarity with Windows 7, 8 and 10 tablets, desktops and laptops.
· Basic familiarity with Mac desktops and laptops.
· Basic familiarity with Android tablets.
· Ability to learn how to perform other IT related job functions.
· Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, balance friendliness with efficiency and maintain focus.
· Must possess solid communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills in order to effectively and efficiently communicate with diverse groups of people.
· Ability to appropriately and professionally handle conflict.
· Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one’s own success.
· Required to make logical, significant decisions using general, recognized analytical skills and techniques.

Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries. Also requires sitting for long periods of time, walking and bending. The associate may be required to occasionally move objects weighing up to 50 pounds from one place to another.
