Infrastructure Architect - 2 days on-site, The Hague (6-month contract, part of a 2-year project)
Are you ready to play a key role in shaping digital government services in the netherlands? We are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to join a dynamic team working on important national services. In this role, you will translate strategic goals and user requirements into robust, secure, and future-proof infrastructure solutions. You will advise devops teams, collaborate with other architects, and ensure that our it platforms meet the highest standards of reliability and innovation.
Responsibilities:
design and maintain enterprise infrastructure that supports scalable and secure digital government services.
advise devops teams and system teams on cloud, automation, gitops, iac, and security best practices.
translate strategic objectives into concrete technical guidelines and architectures.
monitor technology trends and innovations, providing recommendations for adoption within the platform.
collaborate with colleagues across teams, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements:
proven experience in enterprise infrastructure design, cloud-native tooling, and automation.
experience with kubernetes, iac, gitops, control automation, and authentication systems.
strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex technical issues.
excellent communication skills and ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
knowledge of it frameworks and standards such as togaf, archimate, safe, devops, itil, and government standards like nora, ear, and bio.
dutch preferred
location & schedule: 2 days on-site in The Hague.
contract type: payroll, 6-month contract (expected duration of project: 2 years)
