We are looking for a IT infra PMO & Demand Management Lead who is strategic, collaborative, and results-driven to join us in our Global IT Infrastructure team, based in our UCB office in Brussels, Belgium.
About the role
You will be working in a team that leads and shapes the future of our global IT infrastructure initiatives. In this role, you’ll ensure projects are delivered efficiently and demands are prioritized in alignment with our business goals. You will be responsible for driving project governance, managing the intake process, and helping teams deliver strategic value through clear, structured execution.
Who you’ll work with
You will work closely with a global team of IT infrastructure experts, project managers, and departmental leaders. Together, you’ll ensure that all infrastructure initiatives align with strategic objectives and that resources are deployed efficiently to meet business needs.
What you’ll do
Lead the delivery office for global IT infrastructure projects using a consistent governance frameworkDrive the intake and prioritization of infrastructure-related business needsProvide financial tracking support across capital and operating budgetsMonitor and report on project portfolio performance to leadershipCoach and mentor project managers on methodologies, tools, and best practicesChair intake board meetings and ensure transparent project decision-makingPartner across departments to align project goals, resources, and timelinesIdentify and lead continuous improvement initiatives within project and demand processes
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration or a related field; PMP or PMI certification is a plus5+ years of experience in IT project and portfolio management, including 3+ years in a leadership or project office roleDeep expertise in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid) and strong knowledge of portfolio governanceDemonstrated experience in IT demand management, prioritization, and resource planningProficiency with project and portfolio management tools and reporting systemsProven ability to mentor and coach teams, fostering knowledge sharing and delivery excellenceStrong financial acumen with experience managing capital expenditures and aligning budgets with strategic goalsExperience in a global organization; familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry is an advantageUnderstanding of IT service management practices such as ITIL is a plus
